Correct me if I'm wrong but to me this looks like OpenSUSE bug. The kernel module is loaded, and I can give my interface the IP address manually but it just didn't remember the old settings. This is not DHCP address but a static one. issuing "# /etc/init.d/networking restart" fixes it so to me this doesn't look like a kernel bug. ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
