It has even altered the temperature measurements at airports. Airports used to be away from the town for safety and noise. Often they were surrounded by agriculture. Now they are usually surrounded by industry. A field of green plants is cooler than cement and blacktop. So the newer measurements have that error. (Global warming anyone?)
