You are sure that NaOH or KOH can be used to make ethoxide?  Please
give more detail.  If it is so, why is ethanol so difficult to use
in making BD?

No, it was a conversation typed back and forth on Internet Relay Chat (IRC)
I simply kept a log file of it, much like saving an email.  To make it
easier to read, I added some table formating (quick and easy to do using
vi and regex).
