That's one of the reasons I discerned there to be a third answer - do nothing. Sadly, a great number of people would find themselves instantaneously torn between a decision to do nothing or to throw a line or extend a hand. Certainly that dilemma is brought about through no fault of their own. How do you lend aid to those who wreak so much devastation? Seems to be the eternal question in this country - one that not many administrations pause to ponder - as evidenced by our foreign "policies." I for one would care to see an entire warehouse of such policies canceled and the US get back to the process of living - opposed to "obtaining."
