I had a similar problem using a combination of diesel and WVO in an 85 VW TDI Jetta. Where I would start it on diesel and switch to WVO after the engine was up to temp. It died at a red light one day and I had to have it towed. However an hour later it started right up. It was also hard to start if you had turned it off and the engine was warm. A 15 - 30 min wait and it would start. What temp sensor are you referring to?? Thanks.
