Yes, but it is a very important part. One of the biggest limitations of solar energy is storage. If efficient and relatively inexpensive storage materializes, it really could revolutionize electricity production and utilization. It might even be coupled to conventional electricity production to improve its efficiency. Not clear from the press release is how the produced hydrogen and oxygen are to be stored. It is not obvious to me that that can be done easily and at low energy cost.
