I should probably mention the blog article that goes with it. Probably have already, but it's important to note that not all browsers support version 8 of the websocket protocol (draft). If you want to try the code before downloading (or after) on the websocket server that's automatically pointed to in the demo, you need to be running Chromium dev or Firefox Beta. The websocket exchange should also work in MSIE if you accept the automated download / installation of Google Frames. But I haven't modified the JavaScript so that it works in MSIE. (Right now, only the top frame loads, then it chokes.) So, that's one possible contribution if you're interested. I really hate modifying code for Microsoft. :)
