sam, i am in a pure test environment (localhost) so i cannot post a link. i am just testing passing parameters to flash and the button has no otherfunction then to replace some text in my flash program.when i say does not respond, i mean that the button does nothing.i have looked at the site where i downloaded and have looked at thedocumentation and i dont see anything other than how to install.where can i find the "beyond vanilla" features of swfObject? i do appreciate your time and help.all i am trying to do at this point is embed my flash programs in my html pages.this worked but when i tested the button to just echo a trace and change a text box,the button does nothing.teremoto --- On Sat, 12/10/11, Sam Sherlock <[email protected]> wrote:

(the button does not respond) depending on the function of this button you may need to make the swf accept a flash param or two. and possibly using the base param may help.
