After reading, have a look at the source code for the examples to see the whole picture. There are also good examples with best practice embed techniques in the swfobject test suite (look for the browser communication pages) - They demo all of the available communication methosd (but I would recommend with sticking with EI) - http://code.google.com/p/swfobject/wiki/test_suite Once you wrap your mind around how EI can enable two way communications between a swf and js/html, then it can enable some pretty flexible solutions.
