Stof and I are quite aware of all the tickets and I don't see how we can get
them down easily. I mean, most simple tickets have been fixed.
well there are also a few feature requests in there that are not hard to do,
but just a lot of work. what i am talking about is going through the tickets
and determine which ones could be taken over by less experienced developers and
making sure that we find people to step up.

There is also a bunch of opened pull requests waiting for review. I went
through them, adding some comments when I found things to be done before
merging them and asking to rebase conflicting ones but many of them now
need Fabien's reviews to be merged or rejected/modified.
Among the 175 issues, 58 are pull requests, and some others are fixed by
the existing pull requests.
