New issue 1646 by jorn.baayen: Solving inequalities
http://code.google.com/p/sympy/issues/detail?id=1646

It would be handy to be able to do

   e=Le(x**2,2)
   solve(e,x)

yielding a solution interval. Having such functionality would allow
expansion of piecewise function conditions and thereby general interval
evaluation (currently only conditions in the form of 'x {<,>} y' are
supported).

Is such functionality planned? If I find the time and with a bit of
guidance I'd be willing to have a go at it ..
