I am also +1 on making keep_sign=True the default.
I won't have much time for SymPy this week.
I would like to get out a release candidate this week, because I start classes again next week so won't have time to do work on it after that (unless someone else wants to pick up the work). What more work remains to be done in polys12 for it to merge, aside from fixing the ode tests (which I can do myself if you have no time), and reverting your sum fix (which will be a part of merging with my branch from issue 1727, so I can do that too)?
