Lukas, I'll try again - you've failed to reply to my additional posts so maybe you're angry at me about something I wrote. So, what doesn't make sense is that your ldapsend.pas unit does not seem to be modified for Unicode -- the latest version on Sourceforge is the file that you published for Synapse version 38. Is there a newer file somewhere?
If I'm mistaken about the need to modify ldapsend.pas, then would you provide me with sample code for calling ldapsend properties? Thank you. It can be stored in ANSIstring , as currect code expecting, but you must generate UTF-8 encoding inside ANSIstring without D2009 implicit conversion. Best for this is to use synachar unit and their conversion routines. It can produce UTF-8 encoded string inside ansistring and pass it into ldapsend properties. -- Lukas Gebauer.
