Interesting.  We've usually looked at this the other way around, in
terms of "how can we get data from the client into the FxA metrics
pipeline".  But perhaps there's value in trying to do it the other way
around, and have FxA add data to the client telemetry pings.  For
example, you can image in the FxA login flow sending a webchannel
message to the browser so say "these are the experiments this user as
part of when they signed in to sync".
