Mark, Take a look at http://www.yaps4u.net/technoblog/index.html and have a look at the headlines in the left hand column. If something like this is what you are after, then I use something called feed2js. If you have a look at http://www.yaps4u.net/feed2js/build.php and have a play with that you will see how easy it is. You can either install it on your sever, ask me how to install it on your server, or failing that, just use the output from the script above, and use the bandwidth on my server. If things get a little busy, I will either move it to another box, or sort something else out. At the moment, it is not to much over used. It is a rather simple technology that allows you, the humble web page designer, to have this content displayed in your own web page, without having to know a lick about XML! <http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/images/iLoveRSSBlue.jpg> Think of it as a box you define on your web page that is able to update itself, whenever the source of the information changes, your web page does too, without you having to do a single thing to it. Check out some of the <http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=examples> examples where ordinary people are already using this. This Feed2JS web site provides you a free service that can do all the hard work for you-- in 3 easy steps: 1. <http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=find> Find the RSS source, the web address for the feed. 2. Use our simple tool to <http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=build> build the JavaScript command that will display it 3. Optionally <http://jade.mcli.dist.maricopa.edu/feed/index.php?s=style> style it up to look pretty.
