You're in the (or "a") right place, although it might not be
immediately obvious.
All blogs can be read like a normal Web page. In that form, the
content of the blog (i.e., what you've written) is presented in HTML
pages. Most blogs have another way of presenting the content, in a
special format that allows a variety of actions, like subscribing to
the blog, showing content from the blog on other Web sites, etc. That
special format is XML, and there are a couple types commonly used,
which are RSS and Atom. The content presented in one of these XML
formats is called a "feed." Your blog may or may not have an RSS or
Atom feed, but it probably does.
Syndic8 fits into that picture by providing a database of feeds.
(This isn't exaxctly a database of blogs, since blogs and feeds --
although commonly tied together -- are different things and neither
one requires the other.) If your blog has one or more XML feeds, in
RSS or Atom, you can add the Web addresses (URLs) for the feed(s) to
the Syndic8 database.
Does that get your blog URL published? Yes -- in at least one place
(Syndic8) and potentially many others (if other people like your blog
enough to add its content to their sites). This is because the XML
feed information includes the blog URL, and each blog entry has its
own URL. Having it in the Syndic8 database allows people to find your
feed(s) and blog by searching for keywords and, if you take the time
to add some, via tags.
The first thing to determine is whether your blog has one or more XML
feeds and the URL(s) for the feed(s). Once you have the URL for an
XML data feed for your blog, you can suggest it on Syndic8 via the
Suggest link at the top.
There is more information in the Documents section on Syndic8, such as
the following article which discusses site syndication in a more
general sense (not specific to blogs)...

Hopefully this helps to get you started,
