Hi!
back to coding...
Finally I resigned to implement directly cairo_gl and instead of that I've
decided to implement standard Cairo render on screen (via memory buffer).
Cairo gl could be implemented later.
The first step is promising!
I've added the framework to make possible use a Target_Cairo (in opposition
to a ScanLine or Tile) through the AsyncRenderer structure. This allows to
use cairo_png as target using the render dialog.
The next steps would be include some user option to use the Cairo target on
Navigator and/or The WorkArea. Then apply the needed changes to make Cairo
render work on those places.
You're welcome to test the cairo render output to file using this branch
and commit:

Beware that some layers still being missing (spiral gradient, noise
distort, noise gradient, etc.)
More to come! ^___^
Cheers!
