Thanks Dave, your words is stimulating to me.
I've fixed the bug on navigator an besides the new green frame indicator
(that might be user customizable in the future) I set it as done.
Now I'm taking a look to the preview window and I'm figuring out an
strategy to make it more smart when using Cairo. Currently there are many
pixel manipulations that won't be needed when using Cairo.
Until I fully decide how to proceed with preview, I've got entertained
adding a work area renderer to customize the background checkerboard and to
let it use Cairo.
Also I've fixed the bounding box renderer to always produce a box centered
in the middle of a pixel so the box is always thin and sharp.
