Hi!
I'm proud to announce that the render on Work Area is finally finished (*)
and working for tile render and frame render using Cairo render.
Initially it seems to be faster (testing with a cleaned version of the
prologue kid file) and it is about twice faster with Cairo. The better news
are that it might be even much more faster if we remove the gamma
dependence. Currently each rendered frame needs to be gamma filtered
(gamma=2.2 default) to render with the same aspect than the current render
software system does. I tested it without the gamma filter and it is at
last 4 times faster!
(*) There are pending layers and I can see crashes on complex files from
Voria examples. It needs a period of debugging.
I would like to merge to master in order to let you enjoy the Cairo render
and also to allow me to receive feedback and bug tickets about it.
