More info:

I am using openSUSE 13.2 on an x86_64 machine.

The project is here:
https://build.opensuse.org/project/show/home:intijk:synfigstudio
You can find all the tarball and spec files here.
For online building you can check the log there.

For local building, I usually use local building for pretest, it will give
same building result with online building system.

I build it in local:
$ pwd
/home/intijk/osc/home:intijk:synfigstudio/synfigstudio
$ ls
synfigstudio-1.0.1.tar.gz synfigstudio.spec
$ osc build openSUSE_13.2 --local-package

Yes, the same way I import strace, by using gdb, what information you want
?
I could provide any thing you need.

Also, I suspect the problem isn't related with fonts, because
