Hi all, It has been more than a year since the last release and there are numerous fixes in SVN (thanks to dooglus and others). Please give your opinions for the following questions.
How important is it that we wait for a MacOS maintainer/port? Please note that madsen said to me that he is working on a reliable packaging script, will be offline for a few weeks, doesn't want to delay the release. What release strategy should we be pursuing? How often should we be releasing? What should be blockers for the next release? Should we have an IRC meeting about the next release? The roadmap page is available here: http://wiki.synfig.com/Roadmap Some of my opinions: * don't want to wait for the macos port * a mixture of goal-based and time-based * aim for every 2-3 months unless no progress made, re-evaluate goals every 2-4 weeks * windows uninstall fixes, fixes for finding icons (SYNFIG_ROOT/IMAGEDIR) * yes yes yes -- bye, pabs http://wiki.synfig.com/PaulWise ------------------------------------------------------------------------- Take Surveys.
