So apparently any Mac that will run OS 7.1 will boot to OS 6.0.7 using
the 6.0.7 System folder on the 7.1 Disk Tools floppy?  What happens if
you put that folder on the hard drive of a PB 140 (or an LCIII for that
matter), then you make sure the 6.0.7 System folder is blessed, and then
you move in the rest of the components of 6.0.7 or 6.0.8 (or 6.0.8L)?
You seem to be sort of suggesting that that might work.

Has anyone ever tried this?  If so, what happened?
