There are two ways to load a disk image: either drop it onto the program icon (you may have to do this before starting the program), or press <control><o> to open a disk image. <control><h> brings up help (you have to hold both keys for the help screen to remain visible). At least that is the case for Mini vMac. vMac kept crashing on me, and it was slower so I dumpted it.
