And unfortunate no go.... i used rawwrite.... it said it was
successful. Flipped the switch on the floppy disk and popped it in. Sucks it in, spins the drive, and spits it out. then an x replaces

drive is just no good anymore. And I am done spending money on this. I am on a very limited budget and can't spend money on getting a cool
old computer running again.

if anyone has any other free suggestions feel free to share.... also,
how on earth do you remove the floppy and its plastic holder properly?
I can't for the life of me figure out how to remove the power supply.

I'd be second guessing the image before the floppy drive, next on the list would be the floppy disk itself. I'd be happy to send you a OS7.x disktools disk which covers more mac models with higher memory allowed for. Sys6 does have a few limits which maybe why the image failed if your CI exceeds them. The image was tested and will boot a 4mb Classic without problems, I sent the Sys6 ENSC disk which may also be a problem? I can post the disktools image tomorrow if your up to it. If anyone would like to test the Sys6 image it would be of help.

As for the PSU, I dont have a CI, its not one of the models that plugs directly onto the logicboard? If so there is a clip under the PSU that needs to be removed (thinking of the q700 upgrade fot the CI).
