thanks the posts guys. Darren I would be glad to try the sytem 7 disktools disk. See if I can't get that to work. and as for it being useless. In a productivity sense.... maybe. But I am not setting it up to do stuff with. I am setting it up because i like learning the history of things we use today. And booting system 6 will show where a lot of the stuff that makes a macintosh a macintosh came from.
