Carvey ran in hs @ San Mateo ,CA and possibly even at College of San
Mateo...plays drums on occasion with the Aggie band...I used to sell  Robin
Williams his running shoes in the old days (when I was in that biz once upon
a time)...GREAT fun  guy...ran at Tamalpais HS here in Mill Valley , CA
...don't know that he ran THAT fast...still loves the sport.

Other famous tracksters??  Didn't Michael Landon have the national h.s.
record in javelin...at least Jersey State Champ??  Alice Cooper a mid 4:20s
high school miler?? What about that dude who is now a Congressman in Kansas
who ran 3:51.1????
