Informative is what I was talking about, but I used the word "nice". Dotted lines are not as easy to follow as full lines. Imagine a city full of dotted lines. It's going to be a mess, and the map is going to be hard to use. Anyway, we are talking about rendering on a mailing list about tagging, so we are a bit off-topic.
