I'd call such a place a "fairground" or "showground", but I'm not sure whether it would come under "tourism", "leisure", or "amenity". I'm not so keen on "landuse" for it, as the land may also be used for something else. A particular example is the Cappamore Agricultural Show in Ireland; its location is given as "Showgrounds, Ballyvoreen, Cappamore, Co. Limerick" but it looks like for most of the year it is normal farmland.
