Hi David! This could be a good trick indeed.
But first, some context: have you seen many occurrences of cases in which the automatic check failed
to report an upgrade? I understand that this could be the rationale behind your proposal.
Your proposal would imply a significant change in our current UI (which right now stays silent while
checking, and when the check result in no upgrade being found), but might still be worth it.
