Well... You need to have a look at our code then:

First have a look at the network configuration done by NetworkManager,
and try to reach a similar result without it:

http://git.tails.boum.org/tails/tree/config/chroot_local-includes/etc/NetworkManager/dispatcher.d

Then you'll definitely have to build a Tails image:

Anything you do by reusing Tails, interacting with us, and shared your
work can be helpful to Tails in general.
