Well, they saved me the trouble, it's just gone up earlier this afternoon. Just look for the mashup australia blog post.
The post points to data.australia.gov.au, go to the Geography category and go nuts. (-: As for the Qld DCDB-lite dataset, I'll have to load it into my WMS server over the next few nights and then give you the link. My test run took about 2-3 hours but I suspect the CC-BY version is veery similar.
