If an actual train cannot use the rail line, then is it actually a rail
line?

How do we tag ruins? The crumbled remains of a castle or building?

How is Hadrian's wall in England tagged?

As I recall, there is an abandoned town in north-west queensland where
all the houses have been torn down, leaving behind the foundations,
which are visible if you search amongst the grass. It is a genuine
(minor) tourist attraction. Someone could theoretically map the
building foundations as building footprints, but the tagging should
be clear that the buildings are abandoned ruins, not actual buildings.
