Hi everybody,

Indeed great to see these actions in Bangladesh! The country has big
potentials in the mapping!

About the import, I checked the wiki and everything seems really okay!
I only have one big question about the data. I absolutely don't know the
CEGIS, so I have no idea about the quality of their data.
Only one thing I know is the area you propose to import is a really densely
built area. If you would propose to import Gulshan of Dhanmundi, I would
have said go on, but an import of this area it is quite difficult I think.
So I think it is really important to link the import with surveys on the
field! I also know the mappers of BUET (with sir Ferdous, Rifat and
Shubrami) already did some surveys in Old Dhaka. I don't know which area
exactly, but I would say take it in account when you are doing the import.

About the permission, I can sent you a letter just to sign, we developed to
got data in Cameroon and the Central African Republic last year. I don't
know anything about how you are trying to get the permission, but in
Cameroon and the Central African Republic we learned that the best strategy
is often: just give them a prepared document so they just have to sign. It
will go a lot faster.

Good luck with the import, and I will check it too! :-)

Best wishes,

Jorieke
