If you link to the area where it is, I'm sure that someone will be able
to find out what happened. If you go to
https://www.openstreetmap.org/#map=3/66.44/-117.70 and then zoom in to
the place that it is missing from, and say when it was definitely there,
we'll be able to find it.
Incidentally, the Canadian mailing list is a bit quiet these days -
you'll see more Canadian discussions at
https://community.openstreetmap.org/c/communities/ca/95 (login with your
OSM ID).
