(Can someone please translate the following to Italian? I can read Italian but I'm not good at writing it..)

Dear neighbours,

we received the permission from SwissTopo to import the municipal boundaries for Switzerland. As this also means to make edits along the national borders, I'd like you to have a look at my visualisation of the data:

http://osm.t-i.ch/gg.html

The data is tha same as it is used for official maps with a scale of 1:25'000 and from what I've seen, it looks to be more accurate than the present data, e.g. it follows the outline of this river:

http://osm.t-i.ch/gg.html?zoom=14&lat=46.13847&lon=8.61022&layers=BT

Apart from the amount of work it will be to reconnect the borderlines with existing municipal boundaries in Italy, are there any objections or reasons, why the new Swiss data should not be used as borderline between Italy and Switzerland? (And: Does anybody know the source of the present data?)

Regards,
Thomas
