The
advantage of the page up/down key is where you have a single field of multiple
entries. Once the cursor is at the top entry of the field, page down will
take the cursor to the last entry of the field and ready to enter to move to the
next field. If you don't have fields with multiple entries, the page
up/down would be no advantage from what I understand.
Hi,
The F6 key advances from one CDS screens to the
next(??) The page up/down keys does not advance the
curser to the next field. Thanks for the suggestions, I thought
this would be an easy fix.
Rick
Hi,
You can use F6 to skip around to various sections of a screen,
that should get you a bit closer to your field.

Rick,
I do not know of a way to get direct to a field. But
on some screens in Meditech, I do Page Downs to get me closer to the field
faster.

Is there an easy way to go directly to a
field on a Meditech Screen? I have added a custom field that is the last
field on the Meditech screen, currently the script tabs through the fields
(About 25 tabs) until reaching the one I need to populate. This is a slow
process so if I can open the screen and go directly to the field needed it
would speed the job up a bit. Thanks in advance!!
