Greetings,

I obviously haven't <done this> J but I have an idea. I am assuming the
definition of a Juvenile is that their DOB is after a certain cut-off date
(or age if the screen calculates that for them).

A script could be watching the registration process, see when the DOB is
entered and compare it with the "cut-off date" if it is before the cut-off
date (or with the age field if calculated), and the user selects a Juvenile
room, the script could prompt the user to say "hey that ain't right", this
person is too old for that room!" and prevent them from proceeding, notify
someone that they did this, send a shock to their chair via our optional
user shock module etc.

Regards,

Thom

We have just added a new wing to our hospital to take over the old wing.
Our rooms in the new wing can take different types of patients (Med, Sur,
ICU, or Juvenile) and we need to verify when someone is registering a
patient for a Juvenile room if they are actually juvenile. We are using
Magic. Has anyone done this? If so how did you go about this? If not,
anyone have any ideas.
