Hi Robin, I'm wondering if you're running the same OS on both, or perhaps Windows 8 or 8.1 on one. I wouldn't be surprised if the Windows 8 has the lag, and there are screen transitions which may slow things down and so they should be disabled. I have only Windows 7 and so I don't know how to guide you, but these certainly could have an effect, as I recall.

I'm sitting here today working from home and have my work laptop next to my home laptop and just tried a test. I opened the WE control panel on both and arrowed down through the tree view. I can hit the down arrow at the exact same time and there is a slight delay on my home PC. It's really only a slight delay, but I know others on here appreciate how that can feel like a lot as your are arrowing and typing and wanting the information from WE more quickly. I'm using the same voice and rate on Dectalk Access for WE synthesizer option on both and I don't think I'm sophisticated enough to have changed some other setting that would have created this delay. Any suggestions from others who've experienced this? Could it be sound card related?
