All, When a got my new home laptop a while ago, I noticed that it felt like there was the slightest lag of WE voicing things. I'm sitting here today working from home and have my work laptop next to my home laptop and just tried a test. I opened the WE control panel on both and arrowed down through the tree view. I can hit the down arrow at the exact same time and there is a slight delay on my home PC. It's really only a slight delay, but I know others on here appreciate how that can feel like a lot as your are arrowing and typing and wanting the information from WE more quickly.
I'm using the same voice and rate on Dectalk Access for WE synthesizer option on both and I don't think I'm sophisticated enough to have changed some other setting that would have created this delay. Any suggestions from others who've experienced this? Could it be sound card related?
