Ted, I think you may have the wrong page. By exploring a bit, I found a page at: http://news.wsiu.org/programs/wsiu-news-updates#stream/0
which has a button marked "play", with the text "listen live" underneath it; if you searched for the word "live", you could then just shift-tab and land on the button for "play" I think. I am using WE 9.2, but I suspect this will work for you as well.
