Yes, I tried that, and it works spiradically. The other day, I tried shift
down arrow, and it talked. I don't get that one. I just think it's part of
the intermittent problem. Pam.

I just press enter on the combo box, turning off browse mode, then I
either arrow down through the letter options, or hold down the alt key
and do the same. I do not hear the chosen letter option spoken at all,
unless I tab away and back. I just don't think it is supposed to work
this way.
As I've said before, the combo boxes aren't unnavigable, I can simply
press a desired letter and get to where I'm trying to go, but I would
like to have the other option open to me on this page, and others like
it. if at all possible. Who knows, maybe I just have a wrong setting
somewhere, or something.
