I don't work with Excel much, but I venture a guess that the space you read in 
the response was related to the fact that the person was dictating his response 
on his iPhone.
Therefore, what I'm saying is the space should be ignored. Smile

Unfortunately, this doesn't appear to work on my machine.  After pressing f6 
followed by space f2 I get the same message about protected mode.  Many thanks
