Well, it's all about the browse mode not kicking in or something broken for
it to run properly.

to be honest, i have this similar issue with my thunderbird on my old
laptop running windows 7, it just freezes my computer when browse mode
tries to load in thunderbird.

I can't ask GW Micro to fix it when they are no longer around. What I do
nowadays on my old laptop is to read email online when it's working fine in
brave or chrome.

I wish I can provide you a solutions for your problem.

The only thing i can suggest is to turn off all the apps in window-eyes and
see if that works or not.
