A quick question on procedure for a renewed project with an unknown number of new members.
Voting usually entails knowing the number of people who can cast ballots. How will the community 'register' voters? And how will voters know the various qualifications of candidates? Could the wiki be used as a simple hack: members could register on one page; candidates could give their bios and other qualifications on another? I propose that we select an election judge and that we hold a secret ballot in which each person votes for up to 5 members by privately emailing the election judge. The 5 members receiving the most votes would then constitute the original PSC with the power to appoint up to 4 more members for a maximum of 9.
