Thanks Paul. Dropping that onto the wiki.

larger scale project, tackling some of the bigger issues. In the shorter term,
we're looking at some kind of proof of concept and set up of the existing
resources. We've had a few folks stand up to say they're interested to take
that
first step, with some development; or if voluntary help doesn't come through,
OAM would look for a smaller grant to start.

Subject: Re: [OAM-talk] OAM Reboot grant proposal

Hi all,

At the 2010 Where meeting I promised and largely failed to deliver a
prospectus (until a couple months later) for OpenGeo taking a lead
role in the reboot effort. In the end I did prepare a short document,
but I am hampered by not knowing what the audience I am writing for
is. So as it stands it's very simple, but the core idea is to start
with a shared and reviewed specification and then implement it in as
simple a way as possible.

Apologies to Chris if I've in any way misrepresented his initial OAM
work in the historical review. In the meanwhile, here's hoping things
cook along on their own :) If anyone has an audience that needs a
specific pitch tailored to them, let me know.

Paul
