Hey Don, Thanks for putting up this resource. I will be interesting to learn how to configure the data in GeoServer to satisfy the guidelines in [1], I'm pretty sure it's doable.
It'd be good if the sysadmin can give a good read to the GeoServer in Production doc [2] to make sure it behaves well when you start adding a lof of raster files.
