You left an extra "e" in your whisky. :-) Reconciling the data with ODbL before the changeover is preferable. While scripts can remove tainted data, it is difficult to make a script care about the resulting beauty of the map like a local contributor does. Contacting idle mappers and having them consider CT/ODbL is helpful.
