Open source projects have a philosophy about them, they are not just a pile of data and source code. Although the term 'geocode' is not core to OSM there are probably companies out there with trademarks and patents on things which are. So it is important we don't just cave-in to every bully that comes along, hence the passionate reaction to something that is really a trivial issue. Kevin
