What happens if you press the CHAR key twice to brin up the Symbol list?
does it read anything on that screen? Also does Talks use he CHAR key as the
Talks key by default?

Dear all,
I’m not sure whether this question has been addressed on the list or not. I
got Nokia E5 last couple of days. Everything seems to be pretty nice with
Talks 5.01. I observe one difficulty I got. I can’t type symbols apart from
‘dot’ and ‘colon’ that are available on the QWERTY keyboard. I knew I have
to press the third button on the lowliest line on the left and select the
symbol directly, but Talks can’t read any emotocon anyway.
