I don't think the smiley table is in the older firmware.

softkey 1 does the same thin well it switches between 1 / 1 and 1 / 2
but soft key1 does not switch the mode from smilies table to symbols
table, you must use the "chr" key to do so. soft key1 only will
change from page 1 to page 2 or move back to page 1.
